Joseph W. Brady, CCIM, SIOR, is President of Joseph W. Brady, Inc. dba The Bradco Companies, Coldwell Banker Golden West Real Estate in Barstow and Alliance Management Group in Barstow and Publisher of The Bradco High Desert Report.
Following his instincts, Mr. Brady moved from Santa Barbara California in May of 1988, where he was formerly the Vice President of Pegasus Development, a subdivision home developer, and land builder. Prior to that, he was with two (2) large syndicated real estate management firms, specializing in multi-family, self-storage, shopping center and office building facilities.
Incorporated on December 4, 1989, The Bradco Companies is a full service commercial, industrial and land brokerage company serving the High Desert Region (Inland Empire North), the northernmost portion of San Bernardino County. The first and only firm in the region to monitor 2,800 buildings consisting of nearly 34 million square feet of industrial, retail and office space, Bradco has consistently ranked as the number one (1) commercial real estate firm in the region from 2000 to 2005 according to the Victor Valley Association of Research, and as the 13th largest firm in the Inland Empire.
In June of 2000, Joseph W. Brady, Inc. purchased one of the oldest Coldwell Banker Franchises nationally, Coldwell Banker Golden West Real Estate. This firm is a full service residential real estate firm servicing the Barstow area. This office has been awarded the status of Premier Office for the sixth year in a row - the highest award given to the nearly 3,700 offices worldwide and is the No. 1 ranked real estate office in the Barstow area.
In November of 2004, Mr. Brady formed the Alliance Management Group. Alliance Management Group is the only full-service asset management company specializing in providing comprehensive professional property management, leasing, and consulting services for commercial and residential properties within the greater Barstow region. Alliance works closely with both The Bradco Companies and Coldwell Banker Golden West Real Estate as a value added service to both firms.
Understanding that the High Desert has long-term potential, Mr. Brady began publishing The Bradco High Desert Report, the only quarterly economic overview covering the Inland Empire North to expose the area to a greater audience of owners, tenants and investors. This publication was originally published in May 1993 and has recently completed its 38th quarterly edition. This extensive economic overview covers economic activity for the five (5) incorporated cities, and is a compilation of articles written by renowned economists such as Dr. Alfred Gobar of Alfred Gobar Associates and many other public and private knowledge leaders in various industries. The overview provides a wealth of data that is crucial to small business development in the region.
Additionally, Mr. Brady is a contributing quarterly editor to Land Investment News, a twenty-five (25) year old quarterly publication directed to land owners from the Antelope and Victor Valley areas. He has published over eighty five (85) articles relating to the High Desert economy.
In September 1995 Joseph W. Brady was awarded the first annual “Daily Press Freedom Communications Spirit of Freedom Award,” which recognized his efforts for “growth and laissez-fair capitalism.” He has been informally recognized for his efforts to promote the High Desert region to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the High Desert Regional Economic Development Authority (HDREDA), Victor Valley Association of Realtors (VVAOR), Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIA/SC), and The Mojave Regional Economic Development Council.
In April 2000 Mr. Brady was recognized as “One of the Top Ten Business People of the Year” by San Bernardino County Sun Newspaper. In November of 2000 he earned his CCIM designation, allowing him to become a part of the exclusive association of the top 6,000 national commercial real estate professionals, servicing the largest commercial real estate network worldwide.
He served as Vice-Chair and Chairman from 1999-2005 for the High Chapter of the American Red Cross Economic Summit, is a board member for the NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties), a member of San Bernardino County WIB (Work Force Investment Board) and a member of the San Bernardino County Economic Development Committee, and a Board Member for the Inland Empire Chapter of the CCIM Institute.
In June 2004, Mr. Brady was awarded the California Golden Bear Award for Exceptional Service in Fundraising by the American Red Cross.
In December 2005, Mr. Brady was awarded the Paul Harris Award for Distinguished Community Service by the Victorville Rotary Club.
